What is Asphalt Striping?

Asphalt Striping involves the application of various marks and signs on an asphalt pavement, roadway, or parking lot. You can mark or stripe your asphalt surfaces with paint or with molten thermoplastic.

We use solvent-based paint specifically designed to handle high traffic volume through your lot. At best case scenario, your painted lines could last up to 2 years. We highly recommend, however, that business owners perform regular safety and parking lot maintenance checks every 3 months. 

If you get heavy vehicle traffic in your lot, then you need annual re-striping to keep the lines bright, safe, and visually pleasing. If your lot receives only a few office employees each week, then you might be able to last a full 24 months.

By far the most common paint used for parking lot striping is water based acrylic. Water-based acrylic line striping paints provide excellent durability, high brightness and visibility, and are environmentally friendly.
